Qualified Yoga Teacher for over 10 years, 1500hrs in Yoga teaching training, and Years of spiritual practices with many incredible teachers worldwide.

Yoga Styles include energizing and flowing Ashtanga yoga with a strong emphasis on sun salutations and warrior poses to build endurance, strength, and flexibility, while adding flow and focus to the breath and inner balance.  - Institute of Ashtanga & Ayurveda Yoga, Australia (course taken in Thailand).

Hatha yoga practices include a balanced infusion of gentle yet energizing warm-ups, balancing yin and yang asanas, and activating chakras with integrated relaxation and pranayama techniques.  

Meditation practices include chakra meditations, music or nature sounds meditation, mantra, yantra, walking mindfulness, breathing meditations and using various methods and techniques from the Hridaya tradition.

Katie continues to learn and grow as a teacher from continuing education classes, learning from her fellow teachers, and observing and connecting with her students. She also holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah in International Studies with a minor in Chinese.
