Danielle, or Dani, was introduced to yoga in 2012 while taking classes at a donation-based studio near her college campus. What started as a unique & different approach to fitness ended up becoming a staple in her life — helping her navigate through stress, anxiety, & overwhelm. Wanting to provide that same space for others, she decided to become a yoga teacher while living in the Pacific Northwest. Inspired by her teachers at Take Care Yoga in Seattle, she is now a 200-hour Yoga Alliance Certified instructor teaching in Denver, Colorado, USA.
Dani believes yoga isn't just about strengthening the body, but also conditioning the mind. When planning her sequences, she keeps curiosity & playfulness in mind. She loves to incorporate creative flows that allow her students to be present, engaged, empowered, & to not take themselves too seriously. With a focus on grounding, alignment, strength, & play, she creates a safe space for her students to ask questions, try new things, & to fully let go of ego while practicing grace.
In addition to power flow vinyasa (ashtanga), she loves teaching restore/yin. With restorative yoga, she guides students through postures & meditations to relax the body & quiet the mind. Dani understands that finding time for stillness & nurturing our bodies can be challenging in today's world, that's why she believes restorative yoga is more important than ever.
When not teaching yoga, you can find her at a run club, walking her dog Waylon, training for some sort of marathon, hosting themed events for friends, or traveling for work. Having previously lived in Croatia, she's excited to share her love for the country with you all & teach yoga in some of the most beautiful places in the Mediterranean.
